American Roulette Rules

Roulette is one of the simplest online casino games to play. It consists of a wheel containing 38 stops and a ball that can land on any one of those 38 stops. The stops are numbered from 0, 00 and then 1-36 and are colored either black or red.

The 0 and 00 are colored green. Each player makes a bet on where they feel the ball will land by placing a chip on the online roulette table. Winnings are paid on a multiplier of the bet. If the ball lands on a number or color that corresponds to the players bet then he/she wins. If the ball lands on a number or color that doesn't correspond with the players bet he/she loses. Pretty simple!

Types of Roulette Wagers

Straight Up Bet - When a player places his chips on a chosen number.

Split Bet - When a player places his chips on the line separating any two numbers. This allows the player to bet both numbers at the same time with one chip.

Street Bet- This is when a player places his/her chips on the outer right hand boundary line of the roulette table allowing the player to bet on a row of corresponding numbers.

Corner Bet - When a player places his/her chips on the cross where 4 numbers intersect giving the player a bet on any of the 4 corresponding numbers.

Five Bet - A player placing his/her chips on the outer right line of the roulette table between the 00 and the 3 allows him/her to bet on any of the following "5" numbers 0,00,1, 2, & 3.

Dozen Bet - When a player places his chips in one of the three boxes marked 1st 12, 2nd 12 or 3rd 12.

Line Bet - When a player places his/her chips on the outer right hand boundary line of the online roulette table is intersected by the line dividing 2 rows. This covers both street bets.

Column Bet - Placing a bet in one of the 3 boxes marked 2 to 1 allows the player to bet on any of the 12 numbers in the column above the box.

Column Bet - When a player places a bet on either red or black so if the ball lands on the color the player chose he/she wins.

Odd/Even Bet - Placing a wager on either an odd or even marker and if the ball lands on your choice of either an odd or even number he/she wins.
