Let It Ride
This type of poker is a variation of 5 card stud. The object of Let it Ride is the same as stud poker, to get the highest hand with a 3 aspect difference. In Let it Ride the players play against the house rather than each other. Secondly the player builds their hand using the 3 cards that are dealt to the player by the dealer plus the dealers 2 hole/pocket cards. Thirdly and most importantly players are allowed to withdrawal their bets in Let it Ride Casino Poker.
This casino poker game is played at a table quite similar to a blackjack table with spaces for up to 7 players maximum. Each player must place a bet at the table on one of the 3 spaces provide for each player numbered 1, 2 and $. Before any cards are dealt each player must play a minimum bet on each of the 3 spaces.
Ex: If the player is playing at a $5.00 bet table he/she would have to place $15.00 on the table. Once the cards are dealt a player may remove up to 2 of those bets if the cards don't look positive. If the cards are good then the player would Let it Ride.
The Basics of Let It Ride Poker:
Once your bets have been placed in the 3 spaces provided the dealer will give each player 3 cards face-down. The dealer will then give himself 2 cards face-down. Your 1st bet will depend on the strength of your 3 cards and the player will decide to Let It Ride or withdrawal the bet from space 1. Once this is done the dealer will reveal his first card, remember the dealers card counts as the players 4th card. Once the 1st dealer card is revealed the players may either withdrawal their second bet from the space marked 2. Once all the players have decided what they are going to do the dealer will reveal his 2nd card which will act as the 5th and final card for the players hand. Once the dealer has revealed both his cards the players must lay down their cards face up and the value of each players hand is revealed. Hands in Let It Ride are ranked as followed:
Royal Flush
Straight Flush
4 of a Kind
Full House
Straight
3 of a Kind
Two Pair
One Pair.
If a player doesn't have a pair of 10's or better then he looses whatever bets are still alive at the table. What this means is that the player will always be risking the $ 5.00 bet because the option of withdrawing that wager isn't available. If your 1 & 2 bets are still on the table the player would lose those as well. If a player is holding a pair of 10's or better he or she wins all his or hers live bets.
