France Set to Legalize Online Gambling

Viva La France! It is expected that the National Assembly in France will vote in favor of legalizing online gambling across the country, including poker and casino gaming. Although France hasn't really taken any action against it, it has managed to contain it within the country and will now see huge revenues from the legalization. Although it is expected to pass the finalization will have to be through the EU.

Although this is good news, some online casinos are not keen to see this proposed legislation as they feel it will discriminate against those casinos not operating in France. These objections will be tabled before the EU has their final say but it is a huge step in the legalization of online gambling in France as just one of the many countries coming onboard worldwide.
