Play Stud Poker
The casino game Caribbean Stud Poker is one of the most popular forms of casino poker. Although it is closely related to the game of blackjack, scoring is based on poker hands.
To begin the game all players must decide whether they are in the hand and an initial bet is placed which is also known as the "Ante In".
Once everyone has placed their ante the dealer gives each player 5 cards and 5 cards to himself. The dealer must then turn one of his cards face up for the players to see. At this time each player must decide whether to place either a call bet or surrender and lose the ante.
If the player decides to make the call be the dealer must reveal all his cards.
In order for the dealer to qualify the dealer must be holding either an Ace, King or better which would mean a pair or more. If the dealer has not been able to qualify the hand each player wins their ante and the call bet is returned.
Once the dealer has qualified the round you are now heads up against the dealers hand. If your hand is higher than the dealers hand the ante is paid even money. If the player is holding anything higher than a pair the dealer pays a specific multiple of your call bet according to the casino rules which will be posted at the table.
